We’re thrilled to introduce a new feature to make your media alerts even more customizable: Media Duration Control!

Here’s what’s new:

• Edit Sound/Video Duration: You can now easily adjust the length of your Video or Sound Alerts! Just click on the three dots in your Video or Sound button and select "Edit Sound/Video" to fine-tune your alert to perfection. You can adjust the start and end as you wish.

• Random Sounds and Other Alerts: Head to the settings wheel in your media list to adjust the duration to suit your needs.

This update is all about giving you the power to personalize your alerts exactly how you want them. Whether you prefer short and snappy or longer and immersive, the choice is yours!

Our button profiles have received a complete design rehaul, enabling a clean and modern look! Plus, we've added a unique feature that lets you select streaming categories directly from your profile.

When you change categories, your button profile will update automatically, ensuring a seamless experience that matches your alert setup.

Additionally, we added tipping profiles and are currently working on Channel Points profiles as well.

The core of Sound Alerts receives a brand-new look and many quality-of-life changes with version 5.0.

• A complete design and UI overhaul, available in various colors/styles

• Alert button thumbnails that let your viewers identify your alerts with ease

• A revamped leaderboard design showcasing your most loyal community members in the spotlight

• Improved cooldown visibility for all your alerts, letting your viewers browse alerts even when they are on cooldown

• The technical foundation to introduce many great new Extension features soon

After many months of tinkering and testing, we can finally launch our Sound Alert Tipping Page beta and enable PayPal alerts with all the alert types you know and love!

The Tipping Page is not done yet and we are already working on additional updates — here are a few of the things you can expect in the future:

• Customization options for your Tipping Page header image

• Free-form tipping to allow your viewers to tip any amount without selecting one of your buttons

• Color theme selection for your Tipping Page design

• Highlight your favorite Sound Alerts Twitch clips on your Tipping Page

Get Started: Head to your "My Alerts" section and get started with your Tipping Page!

We do not apply any additional fees to your PayPal Tipping alerts — you only encounter the standard PayPal transaction fees.

Introduction of a New Tab for Clip Creation:

We are excited to Introduce Clip Central, a brand new tab in your Settings! This feature allows you to enable Twitch Clip Creation for your Alerts, ensuring that special moments are captured automatically when using Sound Alerts while streaming on Twitch. Never miss out on a highlight again—capture the fun as it happens.

Head over to your Settings to activate Clip Central and start capturing your special Alert moments.

We’re excited to announce video support for Other Alerts and Random Buttons!

You can now add both videos and sounds to your random buttons and other alerts—something many of you have been asking for. Streamers also have the ability to edit the text under the videos and customize the colors for a more personalized touch.

Don’t forget to try out the preview feature! There’s a handy dropdown where you can switch between sound and video previews, so you’ll always know how your alerts will look on your stream.

You can now connect your Spotify account to Sound Alerts and display your current songs via our new widget!

The overlay is available in multiple styles to match your stream aesthetic.

Head over to the Scene Editor, add it to your scene, and make sure to save your scene before connecting your Spotify account.

Starting today, you can customize the text under your video alerts. You now have the option to edit or disable this text as per your preference.

Please note that with this update, we changed the structure on how we play uploaded GIF Animations, which are now muted. This GIF change effects less than 1% of our users.

For a better experience, we recommend using the new library video upload feature, which allows you to add both video and sound. Thank you for your continued support!
