Chatbot notifications

So was trying to find a setting to stop the chatbot from sending messages that someone redeemed points for ... The only work around I could find was to ban SoundAlerts chatbot. As if I didn't I'd receive a message saying so and so redeemed points for such and such. Tried disabling it with settings and such but it didn't work.
