It’s incredibly tedious to build a new profile of your existing alerts, or even add more than a couple new alerts to existing profiles, especially if you have been using the extension for years and have a considerable library (I assume this is true for users who browse the public library of alerts as well).
This is mostly because adding an alert opens a new window, which starts at the very beginning of your library, loads about 9 at a time (and now that they are all forced to be GIFs, this is brutally slow), and requires a scroll that can genuinely take minutes to finish. Once you locate your alert, the window closes, and to continue you must start all over. It is a horrifically inefficient process that makes me want to engage less with SoundAlerts or stop using it altogether. I simply don’t have hours and hours to customize everything like this, and I have less than zero use for the mandatory GIF/mood selection — this is a borderline aggressive UX choice that serves no one. Looks cheap too.
