Play Sounds via Chat Commands
The ability to play sounds through chat commands, either through chat bots or sound alert extension. Allowing it to be specific sounds or all of them.
Themed Entrance
users get to choose 1 of 3 sounds let's say as there arrival to the stream notification. Helps Streamer respond or energize the stream.
Role Discounts
Allow certain alerts either only for mods/VIPs, or a discount to certain alerts for mods/VIPs
OBS integrations - Change Scene on Alert, etc.
I was thinking if it would be possible to make it so certain sounds could change your scene on OBS. For example using the anime WOW sound might change your scene to a full screen cam view. Not sure if this is already implemented as I can't seem to find anything on this.

I play a lot of mmos, so I made a level up button. I want to use this in a way that the level 3 cant be used before the level 2 and so forth
REST API for Soundalerts – Better Integration, Timing Control & Developer Support
Hi Soundalerts Team, I'm a developer and small streamer (deDannyHH), and I really enjoy using your platform. However, one thing I’m seriously missing is a public REST API to better integrate Soundalerts into my stream setup. Why an API is needed At the moment, there’s no clean way to sync Soundalerts with external tools like Streamer.Bot, Touch Portal, or custom OBS scripts. This often leads to overlapping sounds, duplicate triggers, or poor timing between effects. A REST API or webhook system would allow us to: Check if any alerts are currently playing (e.g., GET /alerts/active) Delay certain triggers for better coordination (e.g., 2-second offset for overlays) Sync visual effects (lights, overlays, camera, etc.) with alert events Requested features Simple API query: e.g., GET /alerts/active or GET /alerts/queue Optional: Webhooks for real-time alert/redemption events Authentication via OAuth2 or API Key Access to button states, alert IDs, and queue metadata A question for you Would it be possible to implement something like this in the near future – maybe as a beta or dev preview? And if it’s a matter of development time: Would you consider accepting community donations or support to fund this feature? Something like a Ko-fi goal, Patreon tier, or dedicated dev fund could really help move it forward. I’d be happy to contribute. Why it’s worth it Your competitor Blerp already offers an API, but many of us prefer Soundalerts for its design, user experience, and Twitch-native feel. We just need a way to integrate it with the rest of our ecosystem. Even a basic REST API with one or two endpoints would open up a lot of possibilities and make a big difference for creators who want to offer polished, immersive stream experiences. Viewer Sound Modifications
It would be great if the viewer could, not only play a sound, but change how it's played, like high pitch/low pitch, or echo-y, or slow motion played, etc. sound modification ideas are endless! and be sure to include previews on it, so viewers would know what it would sound like as well!
Dynamic Default Alert Price
It would be awesome to be able to set a personal price for a sound, and it'll automatically be *that* price when we add it to a new board. This would be a HUGE time saver!
Teamwork alerts
An alert that only plays if a certain number of users click the button, I.E. 10 viewers click the button to RickRoll the streamer. This could help boost engagement between community members who could coordinate between themselves to play that obnoxious 3-minute clip that was previously reserved for a 1000-bit donation, instead letting viewers contribute whatever amount to push towards the goal. Bits and Points aren't deducted unless the goal is achieved and the sound is played, of course. A 0-bit, 0-point option could play alerts if a number of users click the button within for example 60 seconds.

An option to reset the Sound Alerts leaderboard for Bits and sounds inside the Twitch extension.

Soundboard
A soundboard would be nice. I have a couple sounds I want to trigger as the streamer but not have available to viewers. At the moment I play it in browser but it would be nice to maybe trigger in a streamdeck or virtual streamdeck/soundboard.

Multiple Alert Positions
It would be nice if we could have an option for individual links for sound alerts, some alerts I want to pop up in the middle of the screen, others I’d rather be out of the way, animation choice wise. Instead I’ll just not put an animation on certain alerts because all sound alerts play at the same time in the stream, there is no way to have the alerts pop up in different parts of the screen. It sounds like a lot of work, but I’d like the choice of more customization if it were possible. I love sound alerts either way, it’s a perfect stream add-on. :)

Allow viewers to select sound from Library
A sound alert that plays an audio file uploaded by the viewer or from the library. Clips should be very short, maybe a 5/10 second limit.
Custom Bot Name
In some platforms like Streamlabs Cloud, you can assign a twitch account to be your bot name. This would be a great feature and I think you’d blow the competition out of the water making it an option.
Adding a spin wheel feature
Maybe with the ability to save wheel templates locally/via cloud? I would prefer locally so I could on fly switch wheels whenever needed but you guys have such a fast updating system I wouldn’t personally mind cloud saves. I’m currently using wheelofnames, a browser based spin wheel that is, decent to say the least. But I feel like I would have a plethora of customization compared to being able to just choose slice colors.

Lock/unlock public listing on library
I would love to be able to lock a sound so it isnt visible in the public library and unlock it later. Right now you choose that when creating but cant change it anymore afterwards

Hi ! I've just try the mobile version of the website and it seem i can't get an open menu for knowing wich icon is for wich category. 2nd point when i try to add a sound for Channel points use, it open a window for select the sound to add but the window is stuck on the left and the 1/2 is missing so i can't choose first column sound for add. I hope it can help u to improve the webstite responsivity :).
